The South Korean government is trying to crack down on various types of violence, and as a result has decided to legislate a law that places online and mobile video clips in the category of offline video so that they must be rated before circulation. This seems like a fairly standard and sensible thing to do, and is something that countries around the world are gradually realising they need to think about.
Incidentally, the government also plans to tackle online privacy infringement by making Internet users disclose their real names — I’m not sure how that works…(via Picturephoning.com)
