Buongiorno Vitaminic Q1 Results

Italian mobile content company Buongiorno Vitaminic has released its first quarter results…

  • Consolidated revenues for Q1 2005 increased by 61% to Euro 27.78 million.
  • Consumer Services revenues increased 108% Year on Year.
  • EBITDA almost doubled to Euro 1.42 million, on comparable accounting standards compared to Q1 2004.

There’s also some talk about a change in accounting standards: “With application of the new accounting standards, the net loss for 2004 would have been Euro 1.8 million vs. Euro 6.6 million reported on the basis of the old accounting standards.”
Anyway, in the first three months of this year Buongiorno Vitaminic sold approximately 95 million “digital objects” against payment, at a mean unit price of 24 cents to about 16.7 million end users (unique mobile phones numbers).
