MSNBC.com managing producer Jon Dube moves toCBC.ca in late July as editorial director responsible for all editorial programming, including news, arts and sports. It’s a new position designed to help CBC acheive of goal of moving the national site into the ranks of BBCi and NYTimes.com.
It’s more brain drain for MSNBC.com, which recently lost Dean Wright, editor in chief, to Reuters and Michael Silbermen, deputy editor, to Rodale — but shouldn’t be seen as a reflection on the MSNBC newsroom environment. Look for more movement there and at other shops as the latest round of musical chairs continues.
