Information services make perfect use of the phones main feature, mobility. It’s entirely unsurprising that so many people are willing to pay $1.25 to get information that would otherwise require a great deal of invested time, however the article points out that the 411 service on mobile phones offers a lot more than on landlines, and most people don’t realise that…better marketing from telcos is required, I think… (via Textually.org)
