The steady trickle of Amp’d news just keeps on coming…M7 Networks will power Amp’d’s Game Connect service, which “be a virtual community where game players can meet, interact, check scores, rate and review games, and share tips and experiences with other subscribers…”A mobile community will provide our subscribers with a consistent experience across all publishers’ offerings,” said Seth Cummings, vice president of wireless content and Internet services for Amp’d”.
Amp’d will also have a rewards scheme powered by Sennari. “The platform will allow Amp’d customers to gain loyalty points based on how much they spend on voice, data and other paid services. Those points can then be used to purchase handset upgrades, mobile-phone accessories, premium mobile content, event tickets in local markets and special sweepstakes giveaways…Amp’d noted the program will help the company create brand loyalty as well as maintain an ongoing dialog with its customers.”
The loyalty program will be integrated with Games Connect and all other Amp’d content partners, with some games offering loyalty point prizes and providing rewards for sharing content with friends.
Sennari claimed this deal would mean Amp’d would be the first to offer a loyalty program to mobile users.
