Feedster Closes Series A Funding Led By Selby Venture Partners

RSS search engine Feedster‘s president and CEO Scott Rafer says the Series A funds will be used to accelerate development and marketing and to expand server infrastructure. No financial details were included in the announcement but lots of name dropping. Selby Venture Partners (described by SiliconBeat as “not the biggest name in Silicon Valley”) led the round, with additional funds from existing investors Omidyar Network, members of the New York Angels, and angel investors. The angel roster includes Kevin Hartz, co-founder of Xoom, Joe Kraus, co-founder of Excite and Jotspot, Josh Kopelman, founder of Half.com, Scott Kurnit, founder of About.com, Mark Pincus, founder of Tribe.net and Support.com, and Narendra Rocherolle, founder of Webshots.
