Failed TV Show Shows Up As Yahoo Webcast

Another milestone in Yahoo’s media/entertinament ambitions: the live-concert show “Pepsi Smash” (which had a run of 8 shows on WB network last summer) is being revived on Yahoo, as an addition to its digital music offering.

Yahoo and Pepsi are reviving the show as a collection of video segments, with plans to serve up digital streams of live performances from Coldplay, Kanye West and Gwen Stefani, along with new clips designed for short-attention-span online viewing.
