Every game played in the U.S. Hockey League (the junior ice hockey league…more here on the league) for the next three years will be available on broadband worldwide, according to the terms of a deal the junior league has signed with B2 Networks. Starting in 2005-06, fans will have the option of PPV broadband or listening to the audio feed. The games will be archived immediately. The games also will be part of the “Bar and Pub” network for local businesses.
B2 Networks partners include the United Hockey League, American Hockey League and the ECHL, as well as baseball’s Northern League. An example: Game 6 of Wednesday’s ECHL 2005 Kelly Cup Final can be viewed live on broadband Wednesday night for $6.
