A Gold Rush in Little Hard Disks

I know, I know, storage is boring…but important given the increasing amount of content people wish (or are expected to wish in the future) to store on their mobile phones. This is a great article about how excited the makers of small hard drives are and why carriers want mobiles to have lots of memory: “Cell phones with hard drives could help wireless service providers increase their customers’ data usage…The new phones could act as training wheels by allowing people to upload songs from their PCs, the way they already do with MP3 players,” leading the way to buying content such as songs over the carriers network.
