SFR, France’s second-largest mobile operator, will expand its music download service in June to 300,000 songs from 50,000, to boost take-up of its 3G service, its CEO said. The company, which is part of French media group Vivendi Universal, said it had signed agreements with several music majors, including EMI and Warner Music Group.
SFR said it had not yet signed a music distribution agreement with its sister company, Universal Music Group.
