The Full-Text Vs. Teaser Debate Continues

Quite a discussion going on over at LockerGnome as readers try to convince Chris Pirillo to return to full-text RSS feeds. Beyond advertising, Pirillo raises the issue of links several times removed from the origin. Take a post five times removed from his feed:
“I love link love, but imagine if full text had been provided in the original entry/pointer? I’d have lost whatever visitor was crazy enough to click through that sequence a full five times just to read the entry that was originally teased?”
Very few of those responding like teaser feeds. Keep in mind, this isn’t an average reader group but the points they raise about convenience and not following partial-text RSS feeds back to the site are worth attention from any web publisher making the choice.
