German High Court has ruled that ISPs don’t have to give out their customer’s information as record labels wage a war on piracy and illegal file sharing. ISPs cannot be forced to reveal the identities of those involved in file sharing. However, this could be a short term break for the leechers, for German government is in the process of writing a comprehensive telemedia law.
