More On Visual Search Tool Grokker

Good follow-up from InfoToday on the Groxis web tool Grokker that debuted last week as a way of visually mapping some Yahoo search results — and not just because the writer quotes from my initial post. Groxis confirms that it will be working with Yahoo in phases and will move beyond the core Yahoo index. The company also wants to work with other search engines. Jeeves, are you listening?
Grokker does not replace the company’s $49 software and, in fact, Groxis hopes to use the Web version to create buzz for a new suite of products to be launched in 2006. Yet another example of online being used to push offline revenue.
