The Hindu Business Line: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, India’s version of the US’ FCC, is set to propose a zero entry fee for offering third generation (3G) services for existing operators. However, it plans to introduce rollout obligation as part of the spectrum policy guidelines to be announced this week.
Meanwhile the government told India’s Parliament that it proposes to introduce 3G in the country.
