Index Corp, one of the biggest mobile content providers in Japan, said that its interim group pretax profit for the period ended Feb. 28th as posting a 150% jump to 3.8 billion yen ($35.8 million) , 28% ahead of forecast, on solid sales of settlement systems for cell phones “commerce ventures”.
The company’s sales also had a 140% increase to 34.5 billion yen ($325.8 million), which was ascribed to expanding overseas demand from Europe and the U.S.
