Reliance Infocomm, the second largest private telecom operator in India, has launched ‘LG 2330′, a handset enabled with Long Message Service (LMS) facility and weighing 65 grams.
The handset is capable of sending text messages of up to 480 characters against the standard 160 characters, Reliance Infocomm President (Sales and Marketing), Mr Praveen Pasricha, said in a release here today.
Another feature of LG 2330 is the ‘airplane mode’ that enables switching off of the radio frequency, while the user is on board an aircraft, but permitting functioning of features such as games, scheduler and memo, it said.
