Industry Moves: Ken Norton Leaves Yahoo To Join JotSpot; David Churbuck Joins CXO Media

Couple of industry moves of note:

– Ken Norton, till now a senior director of product management for Yahoo Search, has left an joined wiki company JotSpot, as VP of products.. He writes on his blog: “But at the same time I was tired of the maladies of big companies. I wanted a place where things get done with small teams of hungry, dedicated people. Companies where decisions are made not by steering committees, but by walking across the street to get coffee.” Some more formal details in the release

– David Churbuck, the founder of Forbes.com and also with mcKinsey in the past, has joined CXO Media as the VP/CM of CXO Online (owned by IDG), overseeing five domains: CXO.com, CIO.com, CSOonline.com, CMOmagazine.com and Darwinmag.com. “CXO is in the sweet spot of B2B and tech advertising, wins tons of prizes for its editorial and design,” he writes…
