Jupitermedia, the info/TV media company, had a stellar quarter, mainly due to non-organic growth as a result of acquisitions: its Q1 revenues were $25.0 million compared to revenues of $14.4 million in the year-ago quarter. Net income was $5.5 million, compared to $1.6 million in the year-ago quarter. Excluding the results of Dynamic Graphics Group, a company it bought last quarter, its revenues were $21.6 million and net income was $5.2 million.
Division-wise, online images revenues were $12.16 million for the quarter, up from $2.5 million in the year-ago quarter (bolstered by a spate of acquisition in the space. Online media revenues were $7.5 million, up marginally from $7.2 million in the year-ago quarter. Research revs also inched up, at $2.55 million, up from $2.34 million in the year ago quarter. Events revenues were $2.74 million, up from $2.3 million in the year ago quarter.
