RSS is about choice and some RSS users are choosing to unsubscribe from feeds including ads. The reasons range from the ideal to sheer annoyance that ads are intruding in the flow of information. They would rather give up content that has served some purpose for them than put up with the ads. Some are installing or searching for ad blockers that will keep the ads from showing up.
