Google Tests RSS Ad Inserts

Another day, another Google advertising move. Lots of buzz about Google’s test of AdSense ads in RSS feeds. Jason Calacanis is even using all caps and exclamation points as in “This is gonna be huge… like HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!” So far, it’s just a pilot program according to Robert McLaws, whose Longhorn Blogs claims to have been first in. The alpha wave is rippling out now with the possibility of a public beta sometime soon. Writes McLaws, “I wouldn’t waste my time trying to figure out the current implementation yet. It will most likely change.” He’s under a gag order on the details.
