SMS Bridges Generation Gap

ANZACThe Townsville Bulletin has been “reassured” by the number of young people who responded to a request to “TXT the Editor” with their views on Anzac Day, an Australian national holiday to remember those who fought and died in wars. Many of the older generation feel that “the importance of the Anzac legend is completely lost on the younger “me generation”. You just have to communicate in the way they communicate, that’s all…(for those who aren’t familiar with the story of Simpson, he was in WWI but didn’t fight – instead he used a donkey to rescue wounded soldiers).
