Oversees and operates the traffic and inventory management systems needed to support NPR‘s online underwriting sales efforts; defines and develops the suite of underwriting products available on NPR’s Web site and digital media properties; helps NPR secure corporate support for NPR’s Web site and digital media properties by crafting sales presentations and providing Web metrics and research need to support the sales effort; advises the Director of Corporate Sponsorship, Operations Manager, and sales representatives of inventory management issues and makes recommendations. Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years of experience in sponsorship or media sales support with at least 1 years of experience in Internet advertising or sales; a solid knowledge of Web browsers, search engines, and other Web-based software applications is required; ability to understand and explain Web sponsorship trends and technologies; excellence organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word and other key business software; computer literacy is required; detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to effectively handle multiple assignments under tight deadline pressure; ability to work independently with strong initiative and follow-through skills; strong written and oral communication skills; preferred: solid knowledge of Web traffic metrics and experience working with a Web metrics reporting tool; experience with online ad serving and management systems and experience with writing and producing sales presentations and collateral preferred.
