Piracy a Huge Concern For Indian Showbiz


ET: Indian entertainment industry experts, gathered at the annual Frames conference, have voiced concern over growing piracy that is harming their businesses. Every speaker at the conference underlined the need to tackle piracy. According to a Ficci estimate, domestic movie industry suffered a loss of Rs 1,200 crore in 2004 alone. The Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA) said the big Hollywood studios lost $80 million in 2004.
