Online Content Market to Touch $5.6 Billion Next Year Intel’s Director (Corporate Marketing Group) Trish Thompson said that the online market for digital content is expected to reach $ 5.6 billion in 2006. She was speaking at a session on digital media on the second day of Frames, an entertainment jamboree organised by Indian trade body FICCI in Mumbai.
“Broaband home Penetration will increase by 30 per cent. In India it is expected to go up from 200,000 subscribers to three million in the next three years. Even if it touches a million, this represents a five fold increase.”
