ZKid Expands To Mobiles

ZKid, a company that offers parents child-safe Internet browsing (for their kids, obviously, not themselves) has announced plans to offer a mobile service. I suppose the idea will be to offer a site with content that’s good for children, but excludes content that’s inappropriate for children. However, I can’t see how this would prevent children from accessing inappropriate content, unless ZKid signs deals with operators that prevents a user from accessing other mobile content sites. “Donald Weisberg, CEO ZKid Network Company, said: “We are in the process of acquiring cutting edge european technology, which will make ZKid Network Co. the most innovative company in the children’s and tweens arena. Within the next week, I will be able to speak in much greater detail of our innovative new strategies.”
