Fujitsu_siemens_stylistic_st5022Other Tablet PCs have been getting all the press recently but Fujitsu was showing the Stylistic ST5022 at CeBIT and infoSync World has publish a preview with nice photos.  The ST5022 is a 12.1" Tablet PC with a lot of nice features and the article covers them very well.  The hardest part to get used to is the price- roughly $3800.  Ouch.

I finally found the 5022 on the Fujitsu website and it starts at $2399. I looked for it when I did this post and couldn’t find it so I wasn’t sure it was being sold in the US.

Yes, as you point out, in the US it’s available at a lower price. The $3800 came from the infoSync article, giving the European-market price using the current Euros-to-dollars conversion factor of about 1 Euro to 1.31 USD:

“Available rapido in several European markets, recommended prices for the Fujitsu Siemens Stylistic ST5022 start at 2899 EUR, or $3,800 USD.”

I don’t know where they get their prices, but the ST5022 starts at $2049. Maybe if you added all the options and accessories you could get it to 3800
