Audible: PR Superstar

Audible seeks a creatively-driven consumer PR superstar to transform the service into the world-of-mouth phenomenon it deserves to be!

Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years agency-side or in-house experience in publishing, entertainment, film or related content fields and proven track record building brand and popular culture awareness in the consumer press. Knowledge of digital media and/or book/magazine publishing a plus.

Qualified applicants will be able to work independently to flawlessly execute publicity activities for the Audible service as well as particular Audible titles including, creative development, creation of press kit materials, event coordination, pitching and booking national and local TV, print, radio and electronic media, creating media lists, arranging and coordinating author interviews, and making presentations to content and business partners as well as other internal managers. Only highly motivated, entrepreneurial self-starters interested in making marketing history need apply. The ability to create unique campaign concepts/creative media hooks, leverage excellent contacts in the consumer press, employ masterful pitching techniques, demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
