Mobile video content firm Vstar has raised $15 million in venture funding from Bessemer Venture Partners and Charles River Ventures. The investment was co-led by the firms.
The company has a mobile video service called 1KTV, and has content from companies including ABC News, ABC Entertainment, FoxSports, and The Weather Channel, as well as original programming. The service is available on SprintPCS, Cingular, and Nextel and comes pre-loaded on Nextel’s Motorola handsets.
