I managed to miss this a couple of days ago, but mobZilla has signed a deal with BMI to stream 4.5 million music tracks on its service. 4.5 million is a lot of tracks, easily beating the 200,000 some online music stores launched with a few years ago. mobZilla offers a subscription service at $5 per month which gives users “unlimited access to streaming commercial-free music both online and on select mobile phones across most major U.S. carriers”. I’m not sure whether you can choose your playlist or only sign up for specific genres and receive what they send you as you would with a radio station. I’m also not sure how much this would cost you in bandwidth fees. Has anyone used this service that could give me some feedback?
