This position leads USATODAY.com marketing distribution efforts by identifying new strategic and tactical opportunities for partnerships or platforms that will significantly expand the reach of USATODAY.com content. The goal of these efforts is acquiring new customers and extending brand reach in specific audience segments.
The Strategic Alliances Project Lead manages implementation of these distribution agreements working with partners and internal groups and also is expected to fully leverage relationships with existing distribution partners with the goal of increasing customer acquisition and brand reach.
College degree required with 2-3 years of prior experience in online marketing, specifically in a partner, affiliate or alliance marketing capacity. Must be familiar with basic challenges of online publishing and have excellent written and oral communications skills. The Strategic Alliances Project Lead is expected to work closely and collaboratively with various staff levels in outside organizations (partners), editorial, marketing, technology and business operations for successful launch and management of plans and products.
