USATODAY.com: Project Lead, Email/Direct Marketing

usatoday1.jpgThis position leads the USATODAY.com e-mail newsletter program and is responsible for building audience, creating customer loyalty and driving direct and indirect revenue. This position also works with internal and external resources to execute strategic and tactical plans for audience growth and provides front line management of select web products, services and applications.

Responsibilities include coordinating and managing all facets of newsletter development, deployment and quality assurance, production, delivery and analytics. The Email and Direct Marketing Project Lead maintains relationships with email program vendors and suppliers including primary outbound email service provider, inbound CRM software platform and select acquisition partners. This person is also expected to develop, implement and manage a search engine optimization strategy to provide consistently successful natural/organic search results.

Requirements include a college degree with 2-3 years of prior experience in online marketing and email program management. Must be familiar specific challenges of email marketing and have excellent written and oral communications skills. The Email and Direct Marketing Project Lead is expected to work closely and collaboratively with various staff and business operations for successful development, launch and management of online products and services.
