Italian mobile operators introduce voluntary code of conduct

The CEOs of Italy’s mobile operators, Marco De Benedetti (TIM), Pietro Guindani (Vodafone), Tommaso Pompei (Wind) and Vincenzo Novari (H3G), have signed the industry’s first ‘Voluntary code of conduct for premium services and child protection’. This follows several months of campaigning and media reports that children are able to access hard-core pornography on mobile phones.
