Virtual Keyboard reviewed

Vkbnightshot_1Dave’s iPAQ has reviewed the Bluetooth version of the iTECH Virtual Keyboard (VKB) as used with an iPAQ Pocket PC.  The author really likes the VKB and shows a lot of pictures of the keyboard in use.  I have not used one of the keyboards myself and have a real reservation how useful they will be for touch typists due to the lack of tactile feedback, but the reviewer was really impressed by the WOW factor of the VKB.  The author is not a touch typist so my questions about the utility of the VKB for rapid typists are still unanswered but it is a good review for anyone curious about these strange and innovative keyboards.

BETTER than the Stowaway? O_o Wow.

Everything I read months ago when all the reviews came out then it was revealed they only had a few units and legal problems getting more manufactured was that it was great for hunt and peck typists that look at the keyboard but not great for touch typists..

I tried out this laser keyboard in the UK a few months ago. As a touch typist, I was surprised by how good it was – certainly better to use than a Stowaway foldable keyboard!
