I’m concerned. I have no idea how much respect I should pay to this particular web site, so I’ll neither bag it or take what it says as gospel. Basically, it’s making a lot of “predictions” about what could arrive on US 3G systems within 10 years, predictions which in most parts of the world are already available (although I’m not sure about the TiVo bit, I think that’s only in the US). The writer does point out that everything can be done today. The other thing that concerns me is that the hypothetical people in the scenario seem to use their mobile phone as an extension of the television, as if that were the only important thing in their life. Maybe I’ve just missed the whole point of the article…
