There’s a good round-up of the deals announced at CES 2005 and how they relate to mobile video or TV (although most of them are not for mobile phones). Most of them involved Microsoft in some way. TiVo also features strongly as it makes harried deals to avoid sinking into obscurity.
Mobile video gets a serve in this article, with an Italian supporting only the Mobisodes idea of presenting video. While I’m not sure other strategies are going to work, I don’t think they should be written off yet – especially because (as in the case of Convisual) the movies announced don’t fit someone’s specific taste.
