NPR Online: Rights and Reuse Associate, Washington DC

Coordinate the sales of NPR transcripts and program CDs on the NPR website and through other channels, assist in the integration of NPR transcripts into the npr.org content management system, assist in the acquisition of photographs and other content for npr.org and administer the NPR permissions process.

Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of experience. Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing and directing project work; ability to analyze and evaluate project results; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, HTML and Photoshop; excellent time management skills, ability to handle tight deadlines and work successfully with a variety of people; demonstrated ability to take responsibility, exercise excellent judgment under pressure, show initiative, and work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, demanding, fast-paced office environment; strong problem solving orientation and skills are essential; demonstrated ability to write, use independent judgment and take initiative; good organizational verbal and written communications skills, excellent analytic ability; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required; ability to juggle simultaneous assignments and set priorities; ability to deal with people in a professional, friendly manner in a deadline-driven environment; ability to function well as part of a team; marketing experience, demonstrated interest and knowledge of public radio and NPR programming, financial analysis and budget management experience a plus.
