BroadbandReports points out Minnesota and California are trying again to get control over VoIP in their states. The FCC says states have no authority over VoIP, and courts have overturned all their efforts so far. Nevertheless, they are appealing again. Why don’t they get it? No sometimes means No. Yesterday, FCC Chairman Michael Powell vowed to keep VoIP regulation free, but warned that there will be challenges. “There will be another 50 more VoIP issues, I guarantee you,” he said.
