Audible seeks a Search Marketing Manager to drive revenue and new customer acquisition through the search channels, with a focus on
profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Search Marketing Manger will be responsible for managing our search
engine marketing efforts. Leveraging your previous paid search and organic
search engine optimization experience and your strong analytical skills, you
will identify and capture opportunities for increased traffic and sales. We
will rely upon you to:
– Continue the development of our search engine marketing strategy
– Manage relationships with vendors and partners
– Manage keyword lists, create new keywords, and phase out ineffective
words
– Optimize ad creative for best overall performance
– Work with production team to build relevant landing pages that drive
conversion
– Work with other team members to improve organic search engine listings
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
– Must have at least one year of direct experience managing bids with
Google and Overture
– Experience optimizing websites for natural search
– Experience with third-party bid management software or search engine
marketing agencies a big plus
– Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving
skills
– Must be able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced
environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Basic working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office products,
database software, and HTML is required
