Earlier this week, Cingular and Lucent announced that they had touched 3 megabits per second in download speeds on their purpose built HSDPA network. Now Motorola has announced that it has achieved 2.9 megabits per second in its European trials. HSDPA technology goes commercial later this year in some parts of the world.
