Rumours are rife that Time Warner and Sprint are in talks to allow Time Warner to offer a mobile phone service on Sprint’s networks. The deal would give Time Warner a so-called ‘quadruple play’ of cable television, high-speed Internet access, traditional phone service and mobile service. It’s also a good opportunity for Time Warner to market its content (which includes movies, CNN and Time Magazine) possibly in the form of a branded mobile service.
