Location: West Coast – LA office
Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Playboy
Entertainment Group, this position is responsible for the strategy and operations to drive consistent membership growth across Playboy’s online subscription and (Video On Demand) VOD business.
This position includes full revenue and P/L responsibility and is responsible for developing and optimizing customer acquisition and retention strategies while managing ROI.
Primary Responsibilities:
— Develop and update written marketing plan and program strategy with a focus on driving success of customer acquisition and retention via organic traffic, partnerships, email and subscriber retention/reacquisition in partnership with customer services and member outreach programs;
– Develop quarterly acquisition, promotions, and offer testing plans, refining overall direct response and relationship marketing approachs.
– Develop outbound communications and promotions for daily, weekly, monthly distribution to opt-in email recipients and other participants.
– Partner with creative team to create editorial content for new products and for improving retention in existing products.
– Develop creative concepts and manage efforts to create the most effective copy, messages, and voice for all of our outbound communications and various parallel promotions on web site(s).
– Develop strategies and follow through on initiatives relating to, search engine optimization, affiliate and partnership marketing, loyalty programs and CRM management.
Qualifications:
– A minimum of 7 years of online customer acquisition and retention experience.
– Experience with subscription, loyalty and direct marketing is essential.
– Prior experience developing and presenting direct response marketing programs that identify core test elements and alignment with prioritized business objectives.
– Experience developing SEO plans, media buying plans, Google Adwords, and prior experience working with leading search portal brands for maximum value creation.
– Strong knowledge of acquisition methods, CRM techniques and online marketing tactics and metrics, preferably in the subscription arena required.
Some travel required.
