Siemens cashes its Juniper Check


Siemens sold about 13 million Juniper shares for about $344 million based on selling 13 million shares of Juniper stock at a price of $26.50 per share. Siemens share is now down to 4.2% or 22.8 million shares. In case you were wondering, the company got stock when it sold Unisphere to Juniper in 2002. “Siemens rivals (in areas such as VoIP/telco access equipment) could have fewer reservations about deals with Juniper ultimately yielding financial benefits, or at least fewer financial benefits, for a rival,” says CurrentAnalysis.
