Sales Operations Manager – Mobile Content/Apps. Company
Position is located in Watertown, Mass.
Preferred candidate must have experience working in a Mobile Content Company and/or Wireless Industry.
Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the SVP Business Development, this person will establish and manage a sales operations process, thereby facilitating how m-Qube,Inc. engages in sales opportunities with customers, delivers on customer expectations, and works within cross-functional teams.
The Sales Operations Manager will perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the sales force, such as establishing sales territories and monitoring the sales effort within territories; coordination and delivery of sales reporting and analytics; manage sales force.com system, forecasting, organization of sales meetings; handle accounting of sales incentive compensation and oversee sales training and development programs.
The successful manager will assist the SVP, Business Development/Marketing in providing leadership and supervision for external vendors and internal non-functional work groups; while consulting with the SVP on matters of risk to m-Qube. Will serve as a liaison to sales team and all participants leading up to delivery of internal management and sales reports; compensation payouts and training development/roll-out.
– Create, maintain and communicate sales incentive plan.
– Develop and deliver objective and accurate sales forecasting.
– Report & track the success of the product offering against stated objectives and revenue forecasts.
– Manage a team of sales and sales support team professionals.
– Manage department data input to (Sales Logic or other application); establish regular reporting, address indicators in the resulting analysis.
– Develop and manage a Sales Process (with continual process improvement approach), that includes appropriate metrics that allow objective assessment on how we’re doing.
Must be comfortable in a crazy start-up environment, but be someone who values process and supports our efforts to grow up.
Requirements:
– BS or BA minimum
– B2B and B2C expertise selling into the Wireless Industry
– 5-7 years Sales Operations experience with 2-4 years in a sales management role
– Must have Sales Operations leadership experience with responsibility for: sales training, performance measurement, sales forecasting, budgeting, process design and ownership.
– Must be self-motivated, and able to share a leadership role in establishing a world-class sales team.
