Indian cell phone company Bharti Tele-Ventures plans to air a new Bollywood movie on mobile handsets for free and in full Thursday in a bid to promote its video-streaming service. The system will allow 200 customers to view the movie at the same time, and there is no information as to how many of the company’s 6.76 million customers had the technology to view the movie. Bharti Tele-Ventures hopes to air more movies, possibly for a fee if the demand is high enough. (via picturephoning.com)
