China Mobile plans to boost investment in 3G by 85% to as much as 110 billion yuan ($13.3 billion) over two to three years, new chairman Wang Jianzhou told analysts. The company originally planned to spend 60 billion yuan on 3G once it received a license, which it expects to get by the second half of next year. The new investment will cover 80% of mainland cities.
