Orange joins 3G fray with pitch to early adopters

Orange has launched 3G in the UK, just in time for what most people agree will be a Xmas non-rush.
“Orange’s entry level tariff, at pounds 30 a month, is pounds 10 cheaper than the basic package from Vodafone but still twice what customers would expect to pay for a basic 3 package. Confusingly, Orange has opted to stick with charging customers for the amount of data they download, rather than adopt the “free” browsing approach of Vodafone and 3.”
