Staci D. Kramer at Paid Content has interviewed Jessica Perry, vp-business development, Consumer Electronic Publishing at Dow Jones, over the new offering of the Wall Street Journal formatted for mobile phones. It will cost $3.99 per month, and currently there are no discounts for subscribers due to billing and partner issues with the telcos.
“We hope people will see this very similar as to buying a newsstand copy of the wall street journal newspaper when they’re on the road, even if they get home delivery..There’s a certain seperate value you derive from the mobility itself and we hope people will see that.”
