3GNewsRoom: There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between 3G world and Indian telecom authorities, and they need to figure out a way to get in sync, as soon as possible. UMTS Forum has identified WARC-92 Band (1920-1980 MHz/2110-2170 MHz), and Indians are planning to use some of those frequencies for other purposes. If that happens, then the Indian 3G mobile users will not have full benefits of global roaming and economies of scale. This could turn into a big problem going forward!
