A Nokia-sponsored exhibition of “fonetography” (pictures taken with mobile phone cameras, despite the fact that they are still, in every sense of the word, photographs) has gone on display at the Association of Photographers‘ gallery in London. The images are provided by a number of celebrities, and will be auctioned off after the exhibition with proceeds going to the charity Mencap. With photos such as that taken by Blur’s frontman Damon Albarn – of his toilet while he urinates in it – I’m not sure how much money will be raised.
