Broadband Daily: During Q3 04, the cable companies with a hand in the voice delivery business added a net 144,411 new voice service customers, 338% more than the 32,963 net adds during Q3 03 and 49% more than the 96,755 net adds during Q2 04. Comcast was the only loser as it is trying to transition its traditional cable telephony customers to VoIP enabled service expected to launch in 2005.
